Q: How does waste accumulate in my body?

A: We live in an environment of pollution, dine on over-processed, pesticide-filled foods, and breath auto exhaust and other chemical fumes. Over the years, these substances accumulate in the body. It takes a change of one's attitude to realize the damage done by this sad situation. Fasting is an excellent way to speed up the body's elimination of these toxins.

Q: I've never fasted before. Will I be able to go without solid foods for a week?

A: The We Care Program is not rigid and you will not be put on a starvation diet. In most cases, guests are receiving more nutrients on our liquid diet than they may receive from their regular diets. Our program is mild and easy to follow. Many guests are surprised by their ability to follow the fast and the resulting sense of fullness and well-being that they experience. Guests with special conditions like diabetes can be provided with fresh salads or smoothies to ensure their stability during the fast.

Q: What is a colonic?

A: A colonic is a method of cleansing the colon and large intestine. It is similar to an enema in the sense that water is being introduced to the colon to wash out accumulated waste. However, a colonic is a deep cleanse of the entire large intestine, whereas an enema cleanses only the lowest part of the colon. A colonic is a clean and sanitary procedure and all tubes used for colonics at We Care are single-use, sanitized and disposable.

Q: When I leave, do I return to my old habits?

A: It is a common experience that guests who complete a fast on the We Care Program have fewer cravings for sugars, fried foods, cigarettes, and other bad substances which they once routinely put into their bodies. Our series of nutrition classes teaches satisfying alternatives to unhealthy food choices so that guests are able to improve their daily habits.
